The Mafia Twitter official account makes a new announcement, probably for a new game. The question is: what is this game? Is Mafia 4 rumored to be in development. Is it a Mafia-2 remaster / remake, and Mafia-3 is also believed to be developing.

The Mafia Twitter official account makes a new announcement, probably for a new game. The question is: what is this game? Is Mafia 4 rumored to be in development. Is it a Mafia-2 remaster / remake, and Mafia-3 is also believed to be developing. Or it's a type of Fast & Furious mafia crossover that is not rumored at all, but is based on this latest tease.

It's a simple one for those who haven't seen the tweet. Now, I know what you're thinking: how's this a teaser, not to mention a new game teaser? It's not by itself, but it's clear with context that it is. Not only is the tweet not pinned, but since August 2018 it's the first tweet the account has created. Thus, context is all in this case, because it is evident with context that it is a teaser for an imminent announcement.

This brings us back to the first question: for what is this teaser? Well, Mafia 4 is the most obvious answer. This is not only the clearest answer, but it is nearly certainly in development and ready for disclosure. But there is also a good chance for a Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 remaster / remake. This has also recently been the subject of rumors and leaks, and 2020 is the former's 10 year anniversary.

Of course, both these things are quite possible too. After all, they'd be a great couple to announce. Meanwhile, the teaser from "family" thinks that Fast & Furious is involved somehow, but it seems improbable. There is not only a new quick & furious game scheduled for release this year, but why would this teaser come from a F&F game from the Mafia Twitter account?

As always, please leave a comment that will let us know what you think. What do you think this mystery teaser's for and do you believe it's Tuesday's game Geoff Keighley is teasing?
