On Wednesday (April 29), Selena Gomez unveiled a new version of her "Boyfriend" video, made entirely of dolls and a healthy dose of creativity.

Directed by the creators behind the Instagram account @selenagomez.doll, the inventive visual is a shot-for-shot re-creation of the original "Boyfriend" clip, all the way down to Gomez's noir-ish drive across the Hollywood hills and trip to the dry cleaners for a magic potion vial.

"I want a boyfriend/ But I just keep hitting dead ends/ Try to take a shortcut, but I get cut/ Again and again/ I want a boyfriend/ Tell me, are there any good ones left?/ I keep findin' wrong ones, but I want love/ Again and again/ I want a boyfriend," the star sings in the stop-motion video, as her plastic version is subjected to a parade of dates with potential suitors, all of whom turn.

Released on Gomez's 2020 solo album Rare's deluxe edition, "Boyfriend" has entered the Hot 100 at No. 59.
