Frontline health care workers at Emerson Hospital in Massachusetts received a special video thanks from actor Steve Carell and "Office" boss.

Carell was born at Concord Hospital, and his mother, Harriet Koch, spent more than 30 years as a nurse there.

He and Emerson go "way, way, way back," he said Wednesday in the video posted on Twitter's hospital page.

"I like to consider myself a kind of Emerson Hospital alumn[us] because I was born there. I was elected the 1962 Cutest Baby, "he added with a straight face.

Carell then paid tribute to the employees for their work in combating coronavirus.

"Thank you, folks, for all that you do. It's much appreciated,' he said. "Keep up the good job." Although Carell was born in Concord, he grew up in Acton, nearby. According to local Metro West Daily News, he still has a home in Marshfield, south of Boston, and the summers there. He also owns General Store in Marshfield Hills.
