New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern asked citizens to stay the course on social restrictions still in place to contain the coronavirus, and said that no decision had yet been made about whether the measures would be further eased.

For the first time since March 16, New Zealand reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.

Ardern also said she accepted Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison's invitation to attend Australia's emergency coronavirus cabinet on Tuesday, where she would be discussing the creation of a "travel bubble" between both countries.
