The "Terminator" posted a photo with his son at the college graduation at Baena last April. "Congratulations Joseph! Four years of hard work studying business at Pepperdine and today is your big day! You have earned all of the celebration and I'm so proud of you. I love you!" tweeted Schwarzenegger. The action movie star also served from 2003 through 2011 as the governor of California.

The Austrian Oak was there for the ceremony at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, as Joseph, 21, scored his Business Administration diploma.

Arnie beamed, posting a snap of the pair: "Happy Joseph! 'Four years of hard work at Pepperdine studying the business and today is your big day!

"You earned the entire celebration and I am so proud of you. I just love you!

Joseph is the son he had with his former housekeeper Mildred 'Patty' Baena, an affair that spelled the end of the actor's 25-year marriage to Maria Shriver, a member of the Kennedy dynasty.

He was born just a few days after she and Schwarzenegger's fourth child, Christopher, had been born to Shriver.

The budding business magnate also posted his own pictures on Instagram, posing with his mum, adding: "Because of this school and the people in these pictures, some of the best times in my life are.

"I am so incredibly grateful to have the privilege to study at such a beautiful and high-caliber school and graduate there.

I now have my degree in business administration and with that, I believe this is only the beginning of a new road. Lets see where it takes us!

During Arnold's regular jaunt to Oktoberfest in Munich, the former governor of California often hangs out with Joseph, the father and son bonding over the lagers.
