With a new investment of $29 million of finance, OTTO Motors is preparing to expand. The Series C funding round, which was announced this week, was chaired by the Private Equity Fund of Kensington with participation by the Bank of Montreal Capital Partners, Export Development Canada (EDC). To date, 83 million dollars have been raised from the company.

A new study of children's app and habits indicates an important threat to the dominance of YouTube because children are now splitting their time between the Google online video platform and other applications, such as TikTok, Netflix and mobile games, such as Roblox. Children aged between four and fifteen now spend on YouTube videos an average of 85 minutes a day, compared to the 80 minutes spent on TikTok. The latter app also increased children's social app consumption by 100% in 2019 and by 200% in 2020, according to the report.
Twitter has a record week when users are looking for protests and COVID-19

According to data from two app store intelligence companies, Apptopia and Sensor Tower, civil unrest caused by nationwide George Floyd protests led Twitter to see a record number of new installs this week. Although the exact findings of the companies differed with regard to the overall number of new downloads or records broken, the companies agreed that the app on Twitter had its largest week globally.
