BTS reschedule Map Of The Soul Tour in the midst of the outbreak of Covid-19

Big Hit Entertainment issued an official statement via their Weverse app stating, "Big Hit Entertainment will reschedule the tour completely and provide our fans with a new tour schedule as soon as it becomes clear when the tour can begin. This may require considerable time as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve.

Nevertheless, we will work to ensure that BTS and our fans can meet each other as soon as possible. We will also create new ways for our artists to engage with our fans and respond to the "New Normal" while waiting for our COVID-19 stopped activities to resume.

"The decision to reschedule the tour was made with the primary consideration of the health and safety of our artists and fans. We have devoted considerable time to preparing the best possible performances and we hope to express our appreciation for your patience by striving to deliver the best shows.

We will notify you of any and all further changes with sincerity and commitment to transparency, and continue to provide updates. We are asking for your generous understanding of the circumstances behind this decision concerning the BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR. We will try to bring you the best possible concert experiences, "the statement concluded.

They have postponed their 27-date North American leg, which was supposed to kick off in April, after their Seoul dates were cancelled.

On 21 February 2020, BTS released their fourth LP 'Map Of The Soul: 7.'
